Our bodies are designed to access fuel by burning either sugar or fat. When we are frequently eating (especially carbohydrates), that fuel is used up quickly creating cravings for more and spiking blood sugar.

Teaching our bodies to switch to burning fat as fuel allows us to feel satisfied longer and to use up the fat we've stored from eating more than we needed in the past.
